Bulldog wrestlers open with loss

The BHS wrestling team started the season traveling to Jennings County Nov. 22. Despite giving up three forfeits, the young Bulldogs won six of 10 matches but fell short in their effort; the Panthers won 39-36.

The six Bulldogs winning by pin were junior David Maher at 138 pounds, sophomores Damien Dance (160), John Dirkhising (195), and Max Amberger (285) and freshmen AJ Dance (106) and Brady Wonnell (145). 

Lion wrestlers open with win

Rushville wrestling started the 2022-23 season by pounding Shenandoah at home 59-21 on Nov. 22. Earning pins were Hunt (113 lbs), Jacobs (126), Tackett (132), Pavey (170) and Collins (285).
