EIAC teams suffer losses on Friday

FARMLAND- The Greensburg Pirates basketball team fell to .500 on Friday after a three point loss to Triton Central. The Pirates led after the first frame 22-14, and led at the half 28-22. The Tigers put up 14 third period points while holding Greensburg to nine. Going into the final quarter the Pirates led was cut to one point, they led 37-36. The Tigers out scored the Pirates 18-14 in the final period to win the game 54-51.
Jack McKinsey led GCHS in scoring with 16, Ki Dyer added 13, Jeter Edwards scored 11, Anderson Barnes-Pettit 4, Reece Beaver 3, Abe Tebbe and Justin Adkins both scored two points. The Pirates travel to Jennings County (5-0) on Tuesday, and they host Franklin County(5-0) next Saturday.


ST.LEON- The East Central Trojans had a rough start to their season on Friday. The Jennings County Panthers put up 27 points in the second quarter to take a 44-29 lead at halftime. East Central was only able to put up 14 points in the second half and lost 73-43. Carson Pieczonka led EC i. Scoring with 18 points, Cole Wheat finished with 8, Joel Richter 7, Dylan Maxwell 6, and Noah Mersman 4.
