Spartans earn win number three over Pendleton Heights

The Connersville Spartans hosted Pendleton Heights on Saturday evening and came away with a 56-45 victory. The Spartans found themselves down 16-12 after the first period. Josh Williams sank two long balls and Connersville took the lead early in the second quarter. They led at halftime 26-24. They out scored the Arabians in the third period 12-10 and led 38-34 going into the fourth quarter. Lucas Barron helped secure the Connersville win by scoring nine points in the period. The Spartans scored 18 in the frame and won 56-45, and moved to 3-2 on the season.

Josh Williams led the way with 23 points, Barron finished with 16, James Williams 8, Braxton Myers 6, and Brayden Pearson 3. Connersville will be back in action next weekend, they host South Dearborn (5-1) on Friday and travel to Richmond(3-2) on Saturday.
