The East Central Trojans took a hard loss Saturday when the Columbus North Bulldogs came to town. East Central was just one-point down after the first quarter 12-11, and Dylan Maxwell finished an old fashioned three-point play giving EC the lead to start the second period. The Bulldogs then went on a 14-0 run and took a 28-17 lead into the locker room at the half. Columbus North then started the third period on a 7-0 run before Connor Kuhn hit a three-pointer for EC. Another Bulldog run put them up 46-20 going into the fourth period. East Central added seven points in the fourth quarter while the Bulldogs added nine to their total and won the game 55-29.

East Central was led in scoring by Rhys Hofer with 7, Kuhn 6, Maxwell, Peyton Hofer, and Carson Pieczonka 3, Nolan Maple and Cole Wheat 2. The Trojans fall to 5-13 on the season and will be in action on Thursday when they travel to #13 Connersville (13-4) for an EIAC matchup.
