Semi State Wrestling matchups

Semi-state for wrestling will take place this Saturday in New Castle. All wrestlers must win twice to be able to advance onto the state finals.
In the 106 bracket, freshman Liam Hubbartt from South Dearborn with a record of 28-9 will compete against freshman Gunnar Butt from New Palestine, whose record is 23-7.
In the 113 bracket, freshman Tyler Stenger from East Central with a record of 22-12 will take on sophomore Nathan Reyes from Indianapolis Cathedral, whose record is 24-13. Along with that in the same bracket, sophomore Cole Freese from Franklin County, whose record is 38-3, will take on senior Kaleb Colwell from Elwood Community, whose record is 18-13.
In the 120 bracket, sophomore Colin Troyer of FC (record 38-1) will take on freshman Aden Rangel from North Vermillion, whose record is 33-3.
In the 126 bracket, sophomore Caleb Mattingly from Carmel (21-5) will take on EC senior Blake Wolf, whose record is 23-6.
In the 132 bracket, Hamilton Heights Junior Isaac Kuhn (28-3) will take on Rushville High School senior Tuff Tackett, whose record is 29-12. In the same bracket, East Central High School freshman Nyden Euson (20-12) will take on Indianapolis Bishop Chatard sophomore Sam Bustamante, whose record is 34-8.
Aric Fox of Connersville (20-18) is competing in the 138 bracket; he will face 33-3 Warren Central sophomore Christian Arberry.
In the 145 bracket, Lawrenceburg junior Brayden Tudor (19-5) will take on Pendleton Heights junior Jack Todd, whose record is 30-1. Dylan Lengerich of EC (32-6) is set to face Hamilton Heights’ Carson Fettig, a junior holding a mark of 36-6.
In the 152 bracket, East Central senior Grayson Hylton (27-9) will take on Mt.Vernon (Fortville) junior Elijah Kiner, whose record is 19-17.
In the 160 bracket, Southport senior Daunte Hon (27-12) will take on Franklin County senior Hayden Newell, whose record Is 39-12.
In the 170 bracket, Franklin County junior Breck Bohman (14-5) will take on Hamiton Heights senior Jimmy Lacey, whose record is 36-6. Also, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard sophomore Kade Rickard (31-9) will take on East Central senior Brayden Huber, whose record is 28-8. Lastly, Indianapolis Cathedral freshman Kyle Harden (36-4) will take on Lawrenceburg junior Drake Rorabacher, whose record is 22-10.
In the 182 bracket, Fishers sophomore Christophe Quarles (33-7) will take on EC sophomore Brendin Kolter, whose record is 23-12.
In the 195 bracket, Connersville senior Orlan Foster (39-2) will take on Indianapolis Cathedral junior Oscar Kirch, whose record is 15-14. EC’s Brayden Rouse (27-7) will do battle with Anderson’s Clayton Stephens (23-7).
In the 220 bracket, Roncalli senior Royce Deckard (24-3) will take on Franklin County senior Lendon Sizemore, whose record is 27-11. Connersville’s Levi DeGroat (30-7) is set to face Talan Humphrey of Franklin Central (22-8).
In the 285 bracket, Carmel senior Jack Milligan (22-5) will take on Batesville sophomore Max Amberger, whose record is 33-7. Unbeaten Lawrenceburg senior Colton Roth (20-0) tries to stay perfect against fellow senior Dylan Braun of North Montgomery (32-8).
Action at the NC Fieldhouse is slated to start at 8 a.m. or shortly after.
