Knights fall to undefeated Owls

The South Dearborn Knights hosted the Seymour Owls on Tuesday evening. The Owls have yet to loss this season and with the win over the Knights are now 8-0. Seymour put up two runs in the first inning and another in the second frame. They exploded in the third inning, putting up10-runs, and they added three more in the fourth frame to post a 16-0 win. Clay Gentry got the start for SD and gave up 10 earned runs, walked four, and struck out one. Alex Probst pitched an inning and finished with two strikeouts. Conner Huff almost tossed an inning in relief and didn’t allow a hit.
The Knights only managed three hits in the game. Adam Kunkel, Ryan Willoughby, and Braden Foist all reached on singles. The Knights defense had four errors in the game. SD is now 4-2 on the season and will face Lawrenceburg on the road at 5:30 on Thursday. They will host Oldenburg this Saturday at noon.
